Recipes from the Road
Just in time for the holiday season.
Our drivers are pros at making a homemade meal with minimal resources while on the road. Popular cooking “appliances” include crockpots, electric grills and microwaves. So we’ve rounded up a few holiday-inspired recipes that don’t require an oven or stove, but will still remind you of tasty holidays past.
What makes a recipe “road worthy”? These are the requirements we looked for:
- Simple Ingredients—the fewer the better for travel, and ingredients that don’t require a fridge or freezer are even better.
- Minimal Prep—these are meals that don’t require an entire kitchen to put together, or have ingredients that could be prepped from home a day or two in advance.
- Low Maintenance—not a lot of basting or mixing required.
Even if you aren’t cooking from the road, these meals are simple and tasty enough to add to your menu this season.
