Do I need previous truck driving experience to get started?

+

No. If you’re new to trucking, we’ll help you get the training you need to earn your CDL through one of our approved schools or partners. +

Yes. Veterans and their spouses enjoy full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Plus, we honor your military service with advanced pay based on your experience, and we help you make the most of your GI Bill® benefits through approved training programs.

Can I use my GI Bill® with U.S. Xpress?

+

Absolutely. U.S. Xpress partners with approved training programs so eligible veterans and their families can use GI Bill® benefits while earning their CDL and during on-the-job training. This allows you to transition smoothly into a new, rewarding career while continuing to receive your benefits.

What kind of driving opportunities are available for veterans?

U.S. Xpress offers a wide range of options, including OTR (Over-the-Road), Dedicated, and Teams—with consistent miles, newer equipment, and predictable home time. Whether you prefer structure and routine or cross-country adventure, there’s a route that fits your lifestyle and career goals.
