- Earn more. Our full time Career Coaches average $300 more per paycheck than non-Career Coach drivers
- $500 bonus upon completing 2 upgrades between January 12, 2024 and April 12, 2024.
- $250 per week when a student is seated on your truck
- Up to an additional $600 in bonuses once your student upgrades
- With priority access to freight, Career Coaches can expect an average of 2500 miles per week

As a Certified Career Coach, you will teach new students how to become safe drivers. Some of the topics covered in your class include:
- Program guidelines
- Avoiding CSA violations
- Learning styles and personality types
- Resolving conflict on the truck
- Tractor maintenance
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- OS&D and cargo claims procedures
- You’ll even be paid when you complete the class—and you can immediately begin taking drivers, and earning money
QUALIFICATIONS FOR
CAREER COACHES
Safety is our number one priority at U.S. Xpress
- Must have Class A License (CDL A) and be 21 years or older.
- Must have at least one year of OTR experience.
- No more than 1 CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years; no major CMV preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test; no drug-related conviction within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL; no positive/refused tests in the past 10 years with CDL-A/CLP.
- SAP drivers are not eligible for hire.
